BALANCE

I have always been drawn to Yin and Yang, ever since I first saw the symbols on a necklace at a festival as a child.

Yin is associated with darkness, calm, the feminine, cold and rest.
Yang is associated with light, activity, the masculine, warmth and energy.

These forces are not separate. They flow into each other and are in constant motion. The symbol, called Taijitu, shows a circle divided into black and white swirls with a small dot of the opposite colour on each side, a reminder that one always contains a part of the other.

This idea of balance is central to many aspects of life, our health and the universe. It reminds us how important harmony is when opposites exist.

The works are delivered by professional carriers who handle art daily. If you live outside the EU, the works are shipped rolled.
